Tools for Success – Teacher Submission
Teachers Are Responsible for Verifying Eligibility and Submitting Tools for Success Requests.
The Tools for Success program helps EVIT high school students transition into the workforce by providing the essential tools and equipment they need to begin their careers. These awards are intended for students who:
- Have completed their EVIT program
- Are employed in the field of study
- Require tools not provided by their employer
- Have demonstrated financial need
- Are applying within three months of program completion
Next Steps for Teachers
As a teacher, you are responsible for verifying your student’s eligibility, completing the application with them, and submitting the Teacher Recommendation Form on their behalf. Students do not apply directly for the Tools for Success program.
- Confirm Eligibility
Ensure the student meets all criteria listed above. - Complete the Application with the Student
Fill out the Tools for Success Application Form together.
- Complete the Teacher Recommendation Form
Complete and submit the Teacher Recommendation Form based on your knowledge of the student’s need and readiness.
- Wait for Notification
The Foundation will review the request and notify you of the decision or next steps.
